COACHES : Are You Registered for 2025/2026?

Not sure if you’re registered you can use the steps listed to view your registration history OR you can use the lookup tool below. 

Click here: NMHSCA Registration Portal

  1. In the top right corner, click on your profile initials or photo.
  2. Select “Registrations.”
  3. Look for 25/26 NMHSCA Membership.

If you’re not yet registered:

  1. Ask your Athletic Director for your school’s membership code.
  2. Register here: NMHSCA Registration Form

Enter your school code in the discount code field at checkout — this will void the cost of registration since your school has already paid. If you do not have your school code, please check with your AD for that. 

Registration Deadlines for Eligibility:

To be eligible for benefits and athlete nominations, coaches must have registered by the following dates:

Fall Sports: October 15

Winter Sports: January 15

Spring Sports: April 15

NMHSCA member benefits, including:

Award Eligibility (Coach of the Year, Milestone Awards, etc.)

All-Star and All-State Athlete Nominations

Years of Service Recognition

Important: Any year in which a coach is not registered will not count toward milestone award eligibility or years of service tracking.

MISSION STATEMENT

The New Mexico High School Coaches Association is dedicated to serving and advancing the profession of education-based coaching. We support coaches actively working in NMAA member schools at both the middle and high school levels, who meet all PED clearance requirements. Our mission is to provide professional development, promote ethical and educationally sound coaching practices, and foster a community that enhances the academic and athletic experience of student-athletes. We also honor and support all coaches of the profession, both active and retired, whose service strengthens interscholastic athletics across New Mexico.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR NMHSCA MEMBERSHIP AND ITS PRIVILEGES?

NMHSCA is an education-based athletic coaches association. Membership and its privileges are limited to individuals who are actively working within school-based athletic programs.

Eligible members include:

  • Coaches currently coaching at a New Mexico middle school or high school
  • Athletic administrators and assistants working in school athletic departments
  • Individuals employed by NMAA member schools
  • Individuals working within an education-based athletic program governed by school district, NMAA, and NMHSCA policies
  • Individuals who are properly cleared through the New Mexico Public Education Department (NMPED) and meet all district and state employment requirements

Membership privileges apply only while an individual meets these eligibility criteria.
