NMHSCA Memberships

2023 - 2024 NMHSCA Membership Registration Information

The New Mexico High School Coaches Association is an organization of coaches working for the betterment of NM coaches.  The NMHSCA was established in 1941.  The NMHSCA is organizes, produces, and publishes All-Star teams, All-State teams, & NM Coaches' Awards Programs.  In addition, every NMHSCA member is provided a 2 million Dollar Liability Insurance policy.  Additional benefits include a full-time director working and advocating directly on behalf of NM coaches.  To become a School-Based Member, please get in touch with Buster Mabrey at tmabrey@nmhsca.com

NMHSCA Memberships:

  • School Based Memberships are an opportunity for a school to provide all coaches within the school full NMHSCA benefits, including the 2 million liability policy for both their coaching and teaching roles, for a single reduced fee based on the school's enrollment.  In addition to all NMHSCA membership benefits being provided to all coaches at the school, the coaches are also eligible to register for the following NMHSCA Coaching Clinics free of charge:  Annual Summer Clinic, NMHSCA Fall Clinic, and the NMHSCA Winter Clinic 
    • 5A = $2500
    • 4A = $2000
    • 3A = $1500
    • 2A = $1000
    • 1A = $500
  • NMHSCA Individual Memberships are for all coaches.  Coaches must be registered as an individual member to receive all NMHSCA membership benefits.  Coaches that are from schools that have registered for School Based membership register for free with the code provided to their athletic director.  All other coaches must register and pay online.  You can pay with with a PO, but you must provide a PO number during registration. $65.00

Affiliate Associations

  • The Albuquerque Football Coaches Association (AFCA) has a membership fee in order for metro area athletes to be eligible for All-Metro Football teams.  See link below for more information. $300
  • The Albuquerque All-Metro Basketball Coaches Association (AMBCA) has a membership fee in order for metro area athletes to be eligible for All-Metro Basketball teams. $100.00
  • The New Mexico Baseball Coaches Association (NMBCA) has a membership fee in order for NM Baseball Coaches Association annual coaches clinic and Baseball All-State teams. $60.00
  • The New Mexico Track & Field/Cross Country Coaches Association (NMTCCCA) has a membership fee in order for track & field athletes to be eligible for the Marilyn Sepulveda Meet of Champions. $20.00
